Summer is here which means it’s time for Vacation Bible School and summer camps! Check out these local options for kids and their families and be sure to check back often, as we’ll continue to add to the list as more are announced.

SummerPalooza 2025 at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church
June 1, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. | June 2 – June 5 | 8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Join Gilliam Springs Baptist Church for a week of fun as they explore a Great Big God in work in the smallest of things! The program is open to children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. The event is free, but t-shirts may be purchased. Learn more and register to attend here.
God’s Special Agent at Temple Baptist Church Fairview Campus
June 1st – 4th | 6 p.m. – 8 p.m
Gear up to be one of God’s Special Agents during VBS at Temple Baptist Church Fairview Campus. The program is open to infants – 5th grade and students will enjoy worship, games, and tons of prizes. Register for VBS here to join in on the fun.
Yeehaw: Celebrating God’s Greatest Gift at Liberty Church
June 6th & 7th | 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saddle up and get ready to celebrate God’s Greatest Gift with Liberty Church. Ages 3 years old to 5th grade are invited to join Liberty Church for the fun. Kids will enjoy music, skits, projects, games, Bible adventures, and more. Register for VBS here to join in the fun.
Arab Volleyball Kids Camp
June 10 – 11
Tune up your volleyball skills this summer while having fun at the Arab Volleyball Kids Camp. The camp is open to students in grades 3rd – 6th, and is $100. Learn more and register your student here.

Join Snead State Community College for a summer of learning and fun! Offering various camps to meet different interests and ages, Camp Snead is the perfect option for summer. Learn more and register by emailing summercamp@snead.edu.
Blast Off VBS at Destiny Church in Arab
June 20th – 22nd | 6 p.m.
Put on your spacesuits and get ready for lift off with Destiny Church in Arab. Ages 3 through rising 6th graders are invited to join Destiny Church of Arab to explore faith, friendship, & fun. Register for VBS here to join in on the fun.
Road Trip: On the Go with God at Arab First United Methodist Church
June 23 – 25 | 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Pack your bags and get ready for a Road Trip at Arab First United Methodist Church! Children and youth will be “On the Go with God” during this special VBS program! Learn more and register for the program here.
Camp Chaos at Old Brashiers Chapel Church
July 12, 2025 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Be sure to sign your children up today for VBS – “Camp Chaos – Jesus provides peace in a chaotic world“.
One day only – July 12, beginning at 8:30 am until 2:00 pm. The day will be filled with lots of exciting stories about Jesus, lively music and fun games!! Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served throughout the day.
Each participant (volunteers plus attendees) will receive a free tee-shirt!! Please be sure to include your size at sign-up. Sign-ups can be completed online here or on-site registration will be available at 8:30 a.m. on the day of VBS.
Magnified: Discovering the Bigness of God with Arab First Baptist Church
July 13 – 16 | 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Grab your magnifying glasses and get ready to discover the bigness of God in the smallest of things with Arab First Baptist Church. The program is open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade.
Arab Parks & Recreation Creativity Camp
July 21 – July 25 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Registration is now open for the Arab Parks & Recreation Creativity Camp! The camp will take place from July 21 – July 25 at the Arab Historic Village. The camp lasts from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day and is open to children entering kindergarten through 6th grade in the fall. Learn more and register your child here.
Arab Summer Cheer Camp presented by the Arab High School Cheerleaders
July 25 | 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. and July 26 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Join the Arab High School Cheerleaders for a Summer Cheer Camp! The camp will take place at the Arab High School Gym and is open to students in Pre-K through 5th grade from the 2025 – 2026 school year. The camp costs $150 and includes instruction and official spirit wear. Deadline to register is July 18th and guardians should email the child’s name, grade for the 2024-2025 school year, parent/guardian name, parent contact number, tshirt size, and sweatshirt size to register. Paperwork and payment will be completed on the first night of camp.
